First Listings Out For Crown Heights' Pricey New Rental

New, 13 comments

Leasing for Crown Heights' newest (and long-awaited) rental building at 341 Eastern Parkway won't officially start until July, but the first listings for the 63 apartments are live. The building sits at the corner of Franklin Avenue, ground zero for the neighborhood's gentrification, but if the previously reported starting rents—studios at $2,200, 1BRs at $2,700, 2BRs at $3,400—seemed high, then the rest of the rents are a doozy. Two one-bedrooms on the lowest floor are actually listed for slightly less than the reported starting rate, at $2,575 and $2,650, but the rest of the 1BRs range from $3,059 to $3,350. Those at the higher end are more like 1.5BRs, as they have small secondary rooms and two full bathrooms. Several units have private outdoor space. The only 2BR/2BA is listed for $3,700, and that unit is on the lowest floor.

The brokerbabble further details what the building will hold. Amenities include a doorman (very unusual for the neighborhood), roof deck, fitness center, and a lobby lounge, and all units have a washer/dryer.
