Looks like preservationists and decriers got the best of the Pacific branch of Brooklyn Public Library, which will now maintain its current location at 25 Fourth Avenue despite earlier plans to ditch the building and move to Two Trees' new BAM South tower. The library had planned on financing the move by selling the historic Carnegie building, but will instead work with elected officials and the community to devise a plan to garner the $10 million the library needs to maintain both locations.
