432 Park Avenue is on the rise, and speedily, too. The Rafael Vinoly-designed, very square skyscraper passed the 1,000-foot mark in June. A tipster sent in the photo above, noting that 432 Park has passed the Chrysler Building. For reference, that landmark is 1,046 feet tall, and 432 Park will eventually grow to 1,397 feet. At that height, it'll be the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphereat least until this 57th Street upstart (or some other tower o' condos) comes along to unseat it from its throne. No wonder the penthouses are among the most expensive real estate in the city.
