The lot that may eventually hold downtown's tallest residential building is making headway. Demolition permits have been filed for 101 Murray Street in Tribeca, which means saying sayonara to the 10-story St. John's University dorm currently on the site and paving the way for Fisher Brothers and Witkoff Group to erect a Kohn Pedersen Fox-designed, 950-foot-tall, champagne flute-shaped tower.
