Here's Another Flashy Building That Will Crowd the High Line

New, 24 comments

There are so many luxury condo buildings being built around the High Line that it's starting to get confusing. For example, developer Siras Oriel is planning one called the Soori High Line at 522 West 29th Street, which promises to have ridiculous private pools. Meanwhile, across the street, at 515 West 29th Street, developer Bauhouse Group is planning something called 515 High Line. And if that's not confusing enough, both buildings are being designed by Soo Chan of SCDA Architects.

While we already know what Soori is going to look like, 515 High Line has been a mystery, until now. NY YIMBY got ahold of some renderings of the 11-story structure, which will almost surely be waviest of the new buildings. The large blank wall facing the High Line is designed to host large art pieces. Bauhouse expects to complete the project in fall of 2015.

An earlier version of this post stated that Blackhouse was the developer of Soori High Line. It is now being developed by Siras Oriel, a joint venture between Singapore-based Oriel Development and New York-based developer Siras.
