Everyone got pretty upset about the cheap furniture in yesterday's Pricespotter, a duplex in Park Slope, which turns out to be asking $1,599,999. And our winner is Captain Crankypants, whose guess of $1.6 million was off by only a dollar. He wrote, "All of the horrible light fixtures have to bring the price down about $75k. Add in a splash of bad taste, multi-directional hardwood floors, some of the worst furniture the world has ever seen, an 800 sq ft one bedroom with 1100 sq ft of storage and you come up with maybe $800 per sq ft? Make it a round number - $1.6 million." Well analyzed, sir, and suitably cranky.
