Brooklyn's Sunset Park is one of the last areas in New York City with a concentration of industrial buildings, and the city and private developers are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to keep it that way. The de Blasio administration plans to spend $100M to renovate 500,000-square-feet at the Brooklyn Army Terminal; Jamestown Properties and partners are upgrading the 6-million-square-foot Industry City; and $80M has been spent on two 1916 buildings at Liberty View Industrial Plaza.
