Climate Central has created an interactive map that shows you how hot 1,001 U.S. cities will be by 2100 if current trends continue unabated. Apparently, 86 years from now, New York City (with a current average summer temperature of 82.38 degrees) will be as hot as present-day Lehigh Acres, Florida (91.76 degrees). Lehigh Acres will probably be as hot as a New York City subway platform. [fastcoexist; photo by Several seconds]
