There's no slowing sales at 15 Central Park West, the most expensive condo building in New York City. In the last two months, units in the building have sold for $48 million, $31 million, and $13 million (not to mention that maid's apartment that sold for more than $5 million), and now two units on the ninth floor that were last listed for $29 million are in contract. The Observer notes that the adjacent-but-not-yet-combined units belong to Mexican businessman Fernando Chico Pardo, a former top lieutenant of Carlo Slim, who bought the larger 3BR unit in 2010 for $12.5 million and the smaller 2BR in 2011 for $9.25 million. What the apartments lack in views, they make up for in private outdoor space: they come with the largest terrace in the building.
