Work Begins on Rockrose Tower at LIC's Eagle Warehouse

New, 1 comment

Things have started happening over at the former Eagle Electric warehouse at 43-22 Queens Street in Long Island City. Developer Rockrose has filed conversion permits, and demolition has begun on portions of the site that will likely soon give rise to a 54-story tower that will have 783 apartments spread over 587,860 square feet, and 34,477 square feet of commercial space. According to Q'stoner, about 80-percent of the existing structure will be used as the base for the new building. Anticipated pricing in the rental tower hits at about $1,800 a month for a studio, $2,600 for a one-bedroom, and $3,400 for a two-bedroom. There's no word yet on when the tower will be complete.
