New Renders Reveal More of Foster's 425 Park Avenue

New, 5 comments

Norman Foster beat out fellow starchitects Rem Koolhaas, Zaha Hadid, and Richard Rogers to give new life to 425 Park Avenue, and a few new renderings by Visualhouse show a bit more of what we can expect from the new office building, including a few interiors and a peek at the main entrance. Permits were approved for the 41-story project in February, and developer L&L Holding is moving forward with demolition of the existing structure. Even though the Midtown East Rezoning died, the tower is still able to be constructed; the only requirement is that part of the existing building's skeleton remain. Upwardly construction is expected to start in 2015.
