Inside Tommy Hilfiger's $80M Plush Duplex Plaza Penthouse

New, 35 comments

Fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger has been trying to get rid of his 18th and 19th-floor penthouse at the Plaza since 2008, back when the condo was an unfinished fixer-upper that wanted $50 million. But then Hilfiger and his wife decided to drop $20 million on renovations, and last October, they put it back onto the market for an eye-popping $80 million. The listing didn't offer many looks inside the home, which features the Plaza's iconic dome and a private terrace, but a new listing—for the same insane price—shows off the lavish, over-the-top decor that was chosen to complement Hilfiger's collection of Warhols. Or as the brokerbabble says, "the luxurious finishes and materials" used in the home "restore this property to its original glamour of a bygone era coupled with 21st century conveniences."
