Permits Filed for Condos Next to Holland Tunnel Entrance

New, 7 comments

A new 18-story, 30-unit condo building is coming to 568-572 Broome Street, two buildings away from the entrance to the Holland Tunnel. An entity named Soho Broome Condos LLC is behind the project, having purchased two adjacent sites, one containing the old Our Lady of Vilnius Church (which Extell flipped for $18.4 million), and the other a small apartment building, which went for $12.3 million. NY YIMBY noticed that the permits have been filed, and that they list the developer as one Selim Akyüz of KSK Construction Group. The new building will total 50,705 residential square feet, with a little 919-square-foot retail space tucked into the ground floor somewhere. The architect is identified as Tahir Demircioglu of Builtd.
