Since appearing on the market in March, the 25 homes at 215 Sullivan Street have sold at a rapid pace: so quickly, that but one apartment remains up for grabs in the building that combines Calvert Vaux's historic Children's Aid Society with a new stretch of a seven-story cloistered building. The success of the development may be due to the desirability of its location, matched by developments like the sold-out 150 Charles Street and rather costly (and impendent) The Greenwich Lane. That's not to say buyers at 215 Sullivan Street got off the hook without paying up: the one- to six-bedroom homes which are configured as townhouses, penthouses, and lofts, were priced from $2.9 million to $17.25 million. The building's only remaining home is on the fourth floor of the original Vaux building, an architectural landmark that is used to anchor the rest of the new development. It is asking $9.6 million, a figure not dissimilar from the selling price of the identical model unit, which is on the floor below. Take a look around the identical apartment to 215 Sullivan Street's only remaining home, quick, before it's snatched up.
