LOWER EAST SIDE—100 Norfolk, the crazily cantilevering building from ODA Architecture (side note — ODA stands for Office for Design and Architecture, which means that the full name of the firm is Office for Design and Architecture Architecture), now has construction site signage, pictured above. Bowery Boogie also has a shot of what the site looks like now, although it's not much. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
PENN STATION—The New York International Fringe Festival is putting on a musical about the destruction of Penn Station. Titled Skyline, it "tells the story of the ordinary New Yorkers who fought to rescue this doomed landmark from destruction" and features "bantering libretto and jazz-infused musical score." Written by Maureen FitzGerald and Taylor Williams and directed by Jason Blitman, there are three performances left, this Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
