That $110 million Woolworth Building penthouse? It's going to be a real thing, and the Real Deal got its hands on the floorplans to prove it. The seven-level home will be just as mindboggling as one might have imagined, occupying the landmark tower's top floors with three bedrooms, a double-height great room, a private elevator, and a library in the observation deck. For reasons that are unclear, the floorplan skips over the 52nd and 56th floors, so the floorplan is noted as the 50th to 58th floors, even though there are only ("only") seven levels. The Real Deal also acquired the full offering plan, which names the penthouse "the Pinnacle," and notes that the asking price works out to an eye-popping $11,700 per square foot.
The plan lists the prices for all 34 condos (the Real Deal published the list in full, so do click through), and the least expensive unit is a 1,290-square-foot 1BR/1.5BA asking $3.875 million. Aside from the pinnacle, the other pricy units are two full floor units on the 29th and 30th floorscalled Pavilion A, asking $28.75 million, and Pavilion B, asking $22.6 millionand unit 31A, a 6,056-square-foot 4BR/4.5BA asking $26.4 million. Overall, units average $4,171 per square foot.
The floorplan also notes that the residences will be using the address of 2 Park Place, which makes sense, since it'd be unlikely that condo owners would enter through the office building's entrance on Broadway. Developer Alchemy Properties will be handling the sales in-house.
