EAST WILLIAMSBURG—281 Union Avenue, the seven-story, 33-unit building with a racing stripe, is now fully leased. Apartments in the 1BR-heavy development went for $2,200 to $4,500 per month. A press release for the milestone indicates that, at $60 per square foot, the building has demosntrated unprecedented success in the Williamsburg "submarket." [CurbedWire inbox; previously]

GOWANUS—The Lighstone Group is trying to win some neighborhood friends who have generally suffered through the construction process of the company's 700-unit development along the Gowanus Canal between Carroll and Second streets. Lightstone has teamed up with ArtBridge to bring a public art installation to 363-365 Bond Street's construction fencing. The display will include the work of nine Brooklyn-based artists who will be displaying their ideas of "urban interaction and exchange." The exhibition launches on Wednesday, and will be accompanied by a community event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. that will include complimentary grub. [CurbedWire inbox; previously]
