After being shuttered for eight years, the Ridgewood Theater is getting turned into apartments. Residential conversions are somewhat of a trend in the area, but that doesn't mean neighbors won't miss it. NY City Lens published a nostalgic vignette about the theater and its surroundings, peeking in to see the construction: "Everything has been torn down and a dim light bulb hangs in the spot where a chandelier once lit the Greek revivalist theatre golden."
