Big Reveal: $695K for an Alcove Studio in Brooklyn Heights

It was an apartment so nice, we had to write about it twice. This was a little test, dear readers, to see if you were paying attention, and to your credit, many were. This week's PriceSpotter property, a renovated alcove studio-ish co-op in a 1880s mansion, was also featured in a Real Estate Deathmatch pitting two awesome Heights fireplaces against each other. Those who didn't already know the price—$695,000—either shot way above ask ($990K and $750K) or way below ($525K). Some adored it; some thought it overpriced and poorly designed. Thank you for reading, and for a dose of healthy debate. Don't lose those eagle eyes now.
