Quirky, Heavily Wooded Duplex Co-op Asks $1.175 Million

New, 2 comments

Sure, the $1.175 million price tag is a little high for a one-bedroom co-op, but this duplex on West 88th Street makes up for it with a host of unique features — tons of wood paneling, exposed brick, a functional fireplace, and a glass ceiling in the upper level bedroom. That last feature might not actually be so great if you ever plan on sleeping while it's light out, but it sure does look cool. And, in addition to everything inside, there are two levels of private terraces. The current owner paid $887,000 for the place in 2009.
