Brownstoner spotted renderings for a new affordable housing development at 356 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg. The nonprofit Housing Development Corporation bought the vacant property for $7.45 million last June, and will feature 19 affordable units spread across 16,000 square feet of residential space, 8,000 square feet of retail, and 2,000 square feet set aside for a medical clinic. It will also have a laundry room, roof deck, and bike storage.

Bong Yu PC Engineers and Architects is listed on permits as the architect of record, who have also filed permits for buildings at 37 Maujer Street, 33 Ten Eyck Street, and 37 Ten Eyck Street, for a grand total of 53 new affordable units.
