No one wants this Greenwich Village townhouse, at least not for long anyway. After selling (or so it appears) in late March for $8.85 million, the four-bedroom home dating back to the 1830's has reappeared on the market for $10.995 million. If its encore is a poor attempt at a flip is dubious yet, considering that three years ago the home sat on the marketpost Blesso Properties renovationat the mercy of the PriceChopper, which took its ask from $10.2 million to $7.5 million in a series of cuts. What's going on here isn't exactly clear, but the new listing does provide some nice Village townhouse eye-candy. UPDATE: A representative from the brokerage firm sends word that the home's sale closed this morning for more than the ask.
