Big Reveal: $1.249 Million for a West 57th Street Co-op

The guesses for yesterday's Pricespotter, a two-bedroom co-op in 100 West 57th Street asking $1.249 million, were, for the most part, in the ballpark. (There were some notable exceptions — "I bet they are asking over $2MM. $2.05 is my guess. I am rarely too high when I play this guessing game.") Rogeenyc came close, with a guess of $1.2 million, as did Manhattan momma ("Generic appts ugly floors but location and light. 1.3 million"), but this week's top spot goes to a repeat winner, Countess LuAnne. She wrote, "The only thing going for it is all the windows. The view will really set the price. I'm going to guess it's right in the middle because the owners obviously enjoy mediocrity. I say a simple $1000 sq. foot, so $1,225,000 will give them wiggle room for negotiating. The maintenance is ridiculous BTW." Congrats to everybody just for playing and having a fun time on the internet.
