The Gowanus Arts Building and neighboring Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott have reached an uneasy truce after more than two years of feuding, with the chain hotel agreeing to donate $25,000 for dance scholarships. The feud began when the Marriott allegedly damaged a wall of the Arts Building during construction, and has been exacerbated by a couple other incidents over the years.
