The city has stopped publicly updating the Stalled Sites List that was created in 2009 after the economic downturn. At the time of its last update, the list contained 530 sites across the city where work had been suspended for over 12 months. A spokesman for the Department of Buildings told TRD that the register is no longer publicly updated because the program officially ended in mid-2013. The list, which was unsurprisingly used by brokers and developers to hawk sites, is still privately updated. [TRD; official]
