Market Reports

There are plenty of townhouses in Manhattan on the market for more than $20 million, but that doesn't mean people are paying that much money for them. These houses, like 400 West Street, languish on the market, even though they are a "fantastic bargain" on a price-per-square-foot basis. Townhouses have yet to catch up to new luxury developments, which keep pushing prices higher and higher, however, "there is an intrinsic difference in value." With a condo, you don't have to do such plebeian things as shovel the sidewalk or accept packages. [TRD]
