Four universities are still in the running to play host to Barack Obama's presidential libraryand Columbia is one of them. The Obama foundation announced the four finalists from 13 contenders yesterday, and Columbia is in the mix with the University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Chicago, and the University of Hawaii. The schools have until December to submit detailed proposals for the library, which, for Columbia, would be at new, under-construction Manhattanville campus. [NYDN; previously]
