Long Island-based company TCX Development is bringing a "Manhattan-style" residential rental building to Hillside Avenue near 191st Street in Jamaica Estates. The descriptor is derived from the building's inclusion of a two-balconied penthouse apartment that will rent from $2,500-per-month. One-bedroom apartments will rent from about $1,600. "We studied this area for a long time," TCX's owner told DNAinfo, "And we really believe that this is the next area of Queens where a lot of development will come soon." The development is near two additional projects proposed by TCX which together will bring 85 apartments to the neighborhood.
