Residents in Prospect-Lefferts Garden are up in arms following news that an unmarked building at 1785 Bedford Avenue serves as a home for around 16 sex offenders. The livid neighbors claim they were never notified of the facility's purpose (which has apparently been in use for two years), with many only learning of the building at a community meeting on Thursday. "It's crazy, there are so many kids around here," said neighbor Cheryl Kelly. "And I get that these people have to live somewhere, but the fact that we weren't notified at the outset is wrong."
