The guesses poured in for this week's Pricespotter, a tiny "penthouse" apartment on the Upper West Side that turns out to be asking $499,000. Some were close, some were not close, and one guy nailed it on the third guess, which isn't really how this works. This week's winner, however, is the eagle-eyed NYCsince83. While his guess of $700,000 overshot the mark, he, somehow, correctly identified the apartment as an unrenovated version of this impressively renovated 425-square-foot apartment, which we featured back in June. We didn't even make that connection — very impressive, NYCsince83.
