The Fortress of Glassitude at 400 Park Avenue South has been kickin' around for a decade, and now she's thisclose to launching sales completion. The final product is an crystalline Christian de Portzamparc creation that will hold Equity Residential rental apartments on the bottom 22 floors, and Toll Brothers condos on the top 18 levels. Leasing and sales are imminent Sales have launched, and today, Toll Brothers dropped buckets of floorplans and renderings for the 81 condos with the launch of the project's website. Thanks to the building's unique shape, there are dozens of different unit layouts, and sizes range from 664-square-foot studios to four-bedrooms, with the bulk of the units being one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes. Sadly/oddly, this sales launch is a quiet one and does not include pricing, but homes will start around $1 million, and the 40th floor penthouse will priced around $20 million.
