Summary
This weekend's Hunters are a mother and her 11-year-old child actor of a son looking to move out of Greenwich Village, following a rent hike. They looked north, hoping to buy a dog-friendly two-bedroom and focusing on Washington Heights and the Audubon Park Historic District. After looking at several condos pushing $600,000, they eventually found a nice sized two-bed on Riverside Drive in the West 150s, asking $479,000. Not wanting to be outbid, they offered $484,000 and moved in over the summer. [The Hunt/"Upper Manhattan Nest for a Mother and Son"; photo via Joel Raskin/Curbed Photo Pool]
