JDS Development has recently applied for permits to demolish several low-rises in Park Slope, with plans to begin construction on a residential building. If the permits are approved, 107, 109, 109A, and 111 Fourth Avenue, and 615 and 617 Baltic Street will be demolished by the end of the year, and an 11-story tower will rise soon after. The project will join a cavalcade of developments rising on Fourth Avenue (or, Brooklyn's "canyon of mediocrity"). [DNAinfo]
