The landmarked office tower at 230 Park Avenue, known as the Helmsley Building for its one-time owner, is expected to hit the market for an eye-popping $1.5 billion. Constructed in 1929, the ornate structure shares a creator with Grand Central Terminal and holds the distinction of being the city's first prewar building to receive LEED-Gold certification after a renovation. It's owned by a partnership between Monday Properties, Invesco and South Korea's National Pension Service. [Crain's]
