Mega-landlord Trinity Church decided that its new glass condo tower, which is replacing two aging (but pretty) church structures on Trinity Place, needed to be taller. It was originally to be a 25-story tower atop a six- or seven-story base, and newly filed permits show it will now be 44 stories. It will hold 111 units, with the top two floors each hosting full-floor penthouses. [NYY; previously]
