In similar fashion to MoMA, the Whitney, and the Frick before it, the Guggenheim Museum has also announced that they would like to and will likely be expanding. The museum plans to erect a so-called Collection Center, an "efficient, multi-use building" with a "dynamic public-programming component" targeting New Yorkers.
