Sales have launched at 345 Carroll Street, an in-construction development at the former site of the Regency Cart building between Hoyt and Bond streets near the Gowanus/Carroll Gardens border. Sterling Equities acquired the site for $12.5 million in May 2013 with the ambitions of erecting the five-story building of bluestone and glass. Its 32 apartments will have largely unique floorplans, and 18 of the units will have private outdoor space. The building will also have such hip amenities as a landscaped backyard with a bocce court and vegetable garden, and cabanas available for purchase. The building is still in the early phases of construction.
