Rego Park, Queens has some new luxury rentals to offer, as leasing for The Rego Modern launches today. The seven-story building's 38 units are a mix of studio-, one-, and two-bedrooms. Four of them are currently on the rental market, via brokerage Modern Spaces, with a studio asking $1,600, two one-bedrooms asking $1,775 and $2,000, and a two-bedroom going for $2,500. As far as amenities go, the building features a fitness center, on-site laundry, outdoor recreation area, parking, and bike storage. According to public records, the developer is Ramin Shirian of Lions Group II, LLC and the architect was Jon Yung of MY Architect PC. The development replaced a two-story building, which Shirian was given permission to demolish in 2007.
