ATLANTIC YARDS—Construction halted on Atlantic Yards Tower B2 this week when both co-developers simultaneously sued each other. So far, the only update is that everybody is still really mad at each other, and today Brooklyn borough president Eric Adams and councilmembers Laurie Cumbo and Brad Lander issued a joint statement, vaguely condemning the whole situation: "It is unacceptable that a financial dispute has left more than 150 workers unemployed, jeopardizing the economic stability of their families and further delaying the construction of affordable housing units in Fort Greene. The completion of the modular apartment tower is vital to the working families who have waited years for promises to become a reality." Et cetera. [CurbedWire Inbox; previously]
