No one was able to peg down the exact intersection of this building at the corner of East 128th Street and Park Avenue, although its origins as a Gristede Bros. grocers annex was an easier guess. The eager city zealot who now owns part of the company is none other than political hopeful John Castimatidis, who garnered a small fortune from the stores. The building that takes the address of 1881 Park Avenue nowadays serves as a treatment center.
