Brooklyn's "canyon of mediocrity," err, Fourth Avenue, looks poised to be on the receiving end of even more new development. Brownstoner noticed that six buildings in a row between 15th and 16th streets in the southern part of Park Slope have all sold. That means just one thing: a megadevelopment is likely on its way. There's precedent for buying up several Fourth Ave low-rises and demolishing them for a taller, bigger, tower. So just add this site to the list already. And this one. Oh, and this one.
