Bjarke Ingels Stands, Expounds In Front of Aerial Photo of NYC

Bjarke Ingels: Advice to the Young from Louisiana Channel on Vimeo.

Currently, in New York, Danish wunderkind Bjarke Ingels is building a pyramid tetrahedron of rentals and a "Big U" that would act as a berm around Lower Manhattan to prevent against future storm surges like the ones Sandy caused. Oh, and he's building a fancy thing in Harlem and maybe, just maybe, if it gets funded, a pier in Brooklyn Bridge Park that is shaped like a ship's prow. Or a Tostito. So yeah, it makes sense that he would film an eight-minute video waxing poetic about the idealistic visions young architects should possess in front of a giant aerial photo of New York City. Because they too need to remember to add a virtual reality room and golf simulator to their inspired designs.
