The Avalon Willoughby West appears to be a lot taller than it was in October, and significantly more glassy. Brownstoner just checked in on the SLCE-designed tower, which is at around 35-stories (of an eventual 57), climbing quickly to the 595 feet that will make it Brooklyn's new tallest tower. For a short time, that is, until the SHoP-designed tower across from Junior's rises to 775 feet and shatters the record. Enjoy it while it lasts, Avalon Willoughby West.
