Williamsburg's Water Tower Bar Is a Very Real, Exciting Thing

New, 1 comment

Far more than a covert one-night-only dalliance, a full-time bar in a water tower is coming to Williamsburg. Now that the community board is, well, on board with a liquor license, Bedford+Bowery has the first set of renderings and additional details about the Williamsburg Hotel, which is currently under construction on Wythe Avenue and North 10th Street. Here's what we know: it will serve cocktails and light snacks, and fit 50 people max. Entrance will be via the avenue and an elevator.

The water tower bar is just one are of a total of six bars in the hotel, including another on the roof along with a pool and yet another in the basement with some cool vaulted ceilings.

Over at the construction site, work is coming along quickly and the seven-story building looks almost topped out. For more details, head over to B+B.
