The wintery scene of this week's Cornerspotter featured the blizzard of 1899, and new commenter laurelfield correctly identified the locale as Longacre Square, better known as Times Square today. The photo looks north from 43rd Street, with the former Olympia Theatre visible in the distance. None of these buildings remain today, and Times Square looked just a little bit different during the blizzard of 2015.
