Million Dollar Listing's Fredrik Eklund Lists Own Place (Again)

New, 17 comments

With the fourth season of Million Dollar Listing New York set to air on Bravo this spring, broker to the stars super-rich Fredrik Eklund decided it was high time to try, try again to sell his own apartment. He first listed the three-bedroom, 2.5-bath—where he, partner Derek Kaplan, and miniature dachshunds Fritzy and Mousey live—in May of 2013. Then, it asked $3.25 million. Eklund's home, which contains exposed beams, industrial pipes, and classy decor entirely made up of neutral colors (thanks to architect Eric Cohler and designer Paris Forino), went off the market soon after. But now it's baaaaaack, with new listing photos (bereft of his absurdly doted-upon pups, it's sad to note) and well as a new, lower price tag: $2,995,000. The super-broker, who has hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram and Facebook, posted the listing on both platforms with the subtle caption, "It's a personal favorite." Eklund has boasted in print that he can sell anything to anyone. Challenge accepted.

P.S. Presuming the apartment does sell at this price, Eklund, Kaplan, Frizy, and Mousey will eventually have two new homes to choose from: a unit at conversion 10 Madison Square West, and another at new-construction 290 West Street. High kick, right?
