Just 16 months after buying a West Village townhouse from actor Kiefer Sutherland, owners David and Lisa Matlin (Forbes once called David "Wall Street's Wounded Vulture") have found someone to take the house at 763 Greenwich Street off their hands. The couple paid Sutherland $17.5 million in September 2012 (Sutherland himself paid just $8 million), and they turned around and re-listed the house in April 2014 for $22 million. A pricechop and broker swap in October brought the price to $20 million, and now the Daily News reports that the property is in contract. The elevator-equipped house is pretty nice, with five bedrooms, a landscaped courtyard, a sauna, and a rooftop terrace with an outdoor shower, so maybe the new owners will see fit to actually live in the place, rather than just flipping it.
