Oh, good, just what Brooklyn needs: two more apartment buildings created by the mediocre design duo Issac & Stern. YIMBY shared the renderings for a 34-unit building at 1007 Atlantic Avenue in Clinton Hill (pictured above) and a 28-unit building at 627 Dekalb Avenue in Bed-Stuy. The Atlantic Avenue number will rise six stories and have ground floor retail. They'll likely be rentals, as the average unit size is about 700 square feet. Chris Gonsalves is the developer.
In Bed-Stuy, the new building will rise seven stories at the corner of Nostrand Avenue, and the units will average 890 square feet. The developer is Eli Nahman. The building will be dead at the street level with a parking garage and a thrilling brick wall.
