East Village Three-Bedroom with Original Floors Wants $779K

New, 14 comments

Welcome back to The Six Digit Club, in which we take a look at a newish-to-market listing priced under $1 million, because nice things sometimes come in small packages. Send nominations to the tipline.

This East Village co-op packs a lot of charm—and a lot of bedrooms—into not a ton of space. It's actually not clear if those are legal bedrooms or not, but they're at least big enough to squeeze in a bed, a dresser, and a nightstand. The charm comes in the form of original wood flooring, exposed brick, and moldings, and is enhanced by some recent updating that left the apartment with more windows and a new kitchen. The main drawback: it's on East 7th Street between Avenue C and Avenue D, which means that it's a real schlep to the nearest subway. But for only $779,000, is it worth it?
