Hudson Yards's First Residential Building Is Poised To Rise

New, 6 comments

Now that 10 Hudson Yards has claimed its status as the first topped-out tower at the 28-acre Midtown West megaproject, eyes have turned to the next one to rise: 15 Hudson Yards. The Diller Scofidio + Renfro and David Rockwell-designed building will be the first residential tower to top out at Hudson Yards, at 910 feet and 70 stories. The approximately 385 condo and rental building will be attached to the Culture Shed and stand near the intersection of 30th Street and Eleventh Avenue. As of now, 15 Hudson Yards is still a big, complicated-looking hole in the ground (h/t New York YIMBY), but should stand complete by 2018.
